Entries will be acknowledged by e-mail in the week commencing 16 September, and further information for those taking part will be sent via e-mail, unless no e-mail address is available

We maintain an e-mail contact list which we use to keep residents informed of Community Association activities and events, and your e-mail contact details will be added to this list unless you indicate that you do not want to do this

We do not, and will not without your permission, pass our contact list onto anyone without permission.

SCARECROW VIEWING DAY

Sunday September 23

2.00 pm to 4.00 pm

Pick up your voting form for “The People’s Choice” from The Grange

£1 charge for each voting form

Have a wander round the village and vote for your choice 

Return your voting form to The Grange by 4.00 pm on Sunday 22 September

Voters will be entered into a prize draw, to be drawn at “Sunday Afternoon at the Races” (kindly sponsored by Diamond Logistics Ltd,) on Sunday 29 September 

Please take great care when viewing the entries, as your viewing journey is along village roads where there will be traffic

All entries will be judged on the following general guidelines

Humour 

Originality

Ingenuity with use of materials           
 Recognisable as a Scarecrow Figure

 

We will be asking our Judges this year to pay close attention to all 4 of the above guidelines, so please make sure you do too!

 

Prize winners will be announced, and prizes awarded at the Sunday Afternoon at the Races Event (sponsored by Diamond Logistics Ltd) on Sunday 29 September 

In The Grange from 2.00 pm, first Race at 2.30pm.
